Drinking On The Job
I thought you’d like to know how hard it is to be a reporter. It’s really, really hard. Tonight at ten, I’m airing a story on hops prices. John Brewer wrote about it in the Pi Press last week. (Brewer — how cool is that?)
Anyway, we went out to talk with Omar Ansari, President of Surly Brewing about the shortage. (Disclosure: I like Surly, and have bought beer in a growler from the Brooklyn Center brewery before). We also visited Midwest Supplies, a St. Louis Park homebrewing supply story, and MacKenzie Pub. Good stuff.
At the pub, I decided to have a little fun with the owner, Brian MacKenzie, and I chronicle that at the video blog.
